Rev. Lee Fox is a native of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He began his ministry as pastor of Ball Camp Baptist Church in October 2015. He is a graduate of Carson-Newman University with a B.A. in Religion and a B.A. in History and also a graduate of George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University with an M.Div in Theology. Lee is currently pursuing his D.Min. at The Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA.
Lee has pastored churches in Tennesee and Texas and was most recently the Director of Support Ministries at The First Baptist Church of the City of Washington, D.C.
Lee and his wife Robin enjoy reading, hiking, camping, travel, and music.
Dr. Clark Measels serves as Director of the Ball Institute for Church Music at Carson-Newman College. Clark has served most of the years since college as a full-time, part-time, or interim music minister. That work has included churches in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
For four years he was Editor of Publications for the Baptist Church Music Conference. He also served as an educational representative for that organization for four years. Recently, he has been a member of the Text and Tunes Committee for the hymnal Celebrating Grace by Mercer Press. His book, Music Ministry: A Guidebook, was published by Smyth & Helwys Publishers. His studies include degrees in musicology, church music, and vocal performance.
Clark is married to Rev. Nenette Measels, Carson-Newman Campus Minister, and they are privileged to live with two amazing cats.
Minister to Children and Parents’ Day Out Director
Katie Stamps is a native of Harrodsburg, KY . She began at Ball Camp Baptist Church as a PDO Teacher in 2015 and then in December of 2016 took her role as Children’s Minister. She is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY. Katie and her husband, Ronnie, have two children, Peyton and Kamdyn. She enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible, being involved with her kids sports teams, any activity outside and spending lots of time with friends.
Karissa joined Ball Camp Baptist Church in 2011 but visited for a while before that. Over the years she has enjoyed being the female voice performing weekly in The Road Worship Service.
Karissa is married to T.J and they have two children, Edison and Elsa; In her spare time she enjoys helping people in need & being a mother to her two children.
Thea joined Ball Camp Baptist Church in 1998 and has been church pianist since 2002. Over the years she has enjoyed playing for Ball Camp’s wonderful choir, many talented soloists and various groups.
Thea is married to Rusty and they have two children, Jake and Zak. In her spare time, she loves watching sports, reading Sci-Fi, and being outdoors. She is a staff accountant at Elliott Davis Decosimo, LLC.
Road Worship Leader
Bailey has been a member of Ball Camp Baptist Church his entire life. He has served the church in many roles including his current one as the Road Worship Leader. Bailey is a 2009 graduate of Carson-Newman College and also teaches music at Ball Camp Elementary School.
Bailey is married to Hannah Chambers and they have two beautiful girls, Ella Grace and Nora Kate.
Tina came to Ball Camp in February of 2009. During that time she has served as organist and was Interim Pastor of Worship for 15 months. A graduate of Carson-Newman College with a Bachelor of Music degree in Church Music and Vocal Performance, she is an ordained minister and has served in several churches as Minister of Music during her career.
Tina enjoys singing locally with the Knoxville Choral Society and Knoxville Chamber Chorale. She has two children, Jay and Emily. Jay lives in Alpharetta, Georgia, and Emily is pursuing her Master’s degrees at Truett Seminary and Baylor University.
