This is your invitation to join us for a fun, relaxing, laughter filled fellowship campout on September 13 & 14 at Dogwood Lodge Camp and Conference Center just outside of Chattanooga, TN! This outing is perfect for friends and family of all ages!

This time spent together will give everyone a chance to slow down and spend quality time together. We will set around a campfire and enjoy s’mores and stories. We will swim and canoe. We will play kickball, wiffleball or go for a hike. We will see who brings home the championship prize from our cornhole tournament or just set back and enjoy watching. But most importantly, we will fellowship with one another!

Did we forget to mention we will eat? What is a campout without a campfire and s’mores? Friday evening as everyone arrives, we will have hotdogs, lite snacks and s’mores around the campfire. If that doesn’t get you excited, just wait until Saturday morning when we will enjoy a BIG country breakfast with all the fixins, but make sure to save room for lunch on Saturday because who doesn’t love a sub sandwich bar!

Don’t be scared away when we say campout! You do not have to sleep outside to attend. We have indoor and outdoor sleeping options. During our stay, you may choose to bring your own tent, setup your campsite and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of nature or you may choose to bring your RV or camper and live the good life of the great outdoors by sleeping in a comfy bed. If neither of these sound appealing to you, don’t worry! We have rented the lodge with plenty of comfortable twin size beds and indoor plumbing.

To help cover food expenses, the cost of the event is $10 per person with a max of $30 per family. If you plan to stay in the lodge, there is no room fee. If you plan to tent camp, there is a $5 fee per person. If you plan to bring an RV or Camper, there is a $30 per night fee (this includes electrical hookup).

Please know that if you plan to stay in the lodge, the sleeping arrangements are on a first come first serve basis. The rooms are not individual rooms, therefore, you could possibly be sharing an area with another family. All of the beds are twin size beds and most are bunk beds. There are a few beds that are not bunkbeds for anyone who may need that option. The bathrooms are also community bathrooms. I know this doesn’t sound ideal, but what better way to bond with your church family.

You must sign up (on the bulletin board outside of the Fellowship Hall) and pay camping fees, if applicable, no later than August 30. We will not be able to add anyone after that date, as we have to turn this information into Dogwood Lodge personnel.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Katie by phone, email or text.

We hope that you will join us for this time of fellowship! Invite your family and friends to join as well!
